C&R Realty And Management Co. Changes Name to Signature Property Group

35-Year Old Firm Looks to Bright Future

Englewood Cliffs, NJ, July, 2005

C&R Realty Management Co., Inc. of Englewood Cliffs, this week unveiled a new company name and logo, replacing the familiar C&R banner that has been the company's trademark since 1971. The company's new name is Signature Property Group (SPG).

When Ira M. Cantor opened the doors to C&R Realty Management Co. Inc., in 1971, he couldn't have foreseen the tremendous success his fledgling company would achieve in a short three and a half decades. Today, the company, which is involved in every aspect of property management including financial reporting, maintenance, construction, and human resources, among others, has emerged as one New Jersey's premier management organizations, with more than 100 highly skilled men and women working behind the scenes to professionally administer its broad scope of services. It is, in fact, the only company in the property management business in New Jersey that has successfully and consecutively managed Homeowner Associations for more than three decades.

According to company President, Ira M. Cantor, Signature Property Group Inc. has no intention of resting on C&R's laurels. "The only constant we can rely on is change," says Mr. Cantor. "Our industry is changing, the state's demographics are changing, housing needs are changing, and a dynamic, growing company must change with the times." Mr. Cantor stated that, "Signature Property Group Inc". is more than just a new name; it's a new direction and a new emphasis upon a younger, highly energetic approach to our business." He went on to note that Signature Property Group Inc. will in no way compromise the company's long-time commitment to excellence and its dedication to serving every aspect of property management and construction throughout New Jersey.

The SPG organization is built on a strong foundation of experienced specialists who have consistently provided highly personalized back-office, maintenance, and construction services throughout the state. This talent will remain the linchpin of the company's business as it moves into the future, as evidenced by  the management team comprised of  Jonathan Cantor, Senior Vice President/Director;  Cyndy Pirrera, Executive Vice President/Director of Operations; Tom Truchan CPA, Vice President/ Finance;  Lori Kenyan, PCAM, CMC Assistant Vice President/South Regional Director; Glen Kassis, AMS CMCA, North Regional Director. Keith Smith, Project Manager - North/South Region. Keith Smith will serve as Director, Signature Construction Corp.. All of the members the SPG's Management Team are long-time corporate executives and specialists in their respective fields. Ira Cantor will remain as SPG President and CEO.

Mr. Cantor pointed out that company's success over the past 35 years and its track record as property managers, financial services providers for Homeowners Associations, and construction specialists, combine to offer a new, bottom-line approach to property management. Coined, "one-stop shopping," the concept represents cost savings and service enhancements to Associations and their boards by providing a totality of services, a quick response capability, and an integration of services under one umbrella. SPG's Human Resources Division is another unique service, providing on-going training programs while meeting the personnel requirements of both SPG and the Associations which it represents.

SPG's principal offices will remain in Englewood Cliffs and North Brunswick, and the company will continue to staff its regional offices throughout New Jersey.
